Manager/Senior Manager (Family Services Operations), SSP/OP

What the role is

The Social Support (SSP) Group oversees the operations planning and delivery of social services for low-income and vulnerable groups. The Operations Planning (OP) Division oversees operations policy and service development to enable policy and programme implementation. Under OP, the Service Management team focuses on the service management and development of Family Service Centres (FSCs) and youth programmes such as Youth GO! Programme (YGP), as well as capability building of our partners.

What you will be working on

You will be working with the team on the following: (a) Service Management • Improve use of data for ops monitoring (e.g. dashboards, management and ops updates) • Monitor performance of service providers through audit checks • Conceptualise and implement engagement platforms with service providers • Other ops duties may include coordinating setting up of new facilities, attending to incident reports or stakeholders’ enquiries about ops processes and programmes (b) Service Development • Implement new initiatives with service providers (e.g. scheme enhancements and workflows) • Pilot tech and AI tools with service providers; work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. IT department) and external service providers in system development and enhancements • Co-develop practice guides in consultation with professionals (c) Capability Building • Build capabilities of service providers in new and emerging areas of needs, to better serve clients • Develop initiatives to support service providers in manpower recruitment and retention • Review training roadmaps for our programmes with other stakeholders

What we are looking for

• Degree in any discipline, preferably some experience in service management, youth or social work • Good data management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word • Keen interest to leverage on tech and data, ability to use Power BI, Python would be an advantage • Strong organisational and engagement skills • Good command of spoken and written English • Interest in youth/family/social work
