The Singapore Police Force (SPF) plays a critical role in keeping Singapore safe and secure with our mission to prevent, deter and detect crime. Police Logistics Department (PLD) supports this mission by providing timely mission-centric logistics capabilities.
As an Armament Management Manager in PLD, you will play a key role in the logistics-related capability development projects for Firearms and Ammunitions (collectively termed as Armament). You will work closely with personnel from the Home Team Science & Technology Agency (HTX) and relevant stakeholders to manage these projects and be directly involved in the administration and management of armament-related contracts.
You will be placed under the Management Executive Scheme.

What you will be working on
You will be responsible in budget forecasting, acquisition process, and funds and contract management of SPF’s armament (i.e. firearms and ammunition) projects. This job is critical to ensure timely procurement and delivery of SPF’s armament requirements for the continuity of SPF’s operational efficiency.

What we are looking for
The ideal applicant would be someone who has / is:
• Field of studies in Mechanical (or related) Engineering is preferred.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in supply chain management and/or project management.
• Motivated, reliable, and a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills. The ideal person should also be able to build strong collaborative relationships.
• Demonstrates strong analytical skills, a systematic approach to problem-solving, and a focus on developing effective solutions.
• Capable of setting clear project goals and objectives, with experience in procurement, financial management, contract administration, and project coordination.
