What the role is

The AI & Data Programmes within the AI & Data Office has been established as part of MOM's new AI and Data Horizontal to drive the ministry's AI agenda and foster a more prevalent AI culture whilst strengthening data coordination and integration across divisions. We are looking for a dynamic leader to head the AI & Data Programmes and spearhead initiatives that promote AI & Data-driven culture and literacy within MOM. This role will significantly contribute to MOM’s transformation by building MOM's AI and data capabilities and establishing a cohesive ecosystem that enables both vertical specialisation and horizontal integration across the ministry.

What you will be working on

• Lead and manage the AI & Data Programmes within the broader AI & Data Office structure • Plan, organise, and execute large-scale events, contests, and data management initiatives that drive AI and data culture transformation ministry-wide • Develop strategic event concepts and comprehensive programmes in collaboration with multiple divisions and senior stakeholders • Manage programme budgets and ensure cost-effective delivery of initiatives • Coordinate complex logistics across multiple venues, divisions, and external partners • Oversee marketing and promotion strategies for AI and data programmes, including digital campaigns and stakeholder engagement materials • Evaluate programme effectiveness and provide strategic analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement • Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal divisions and external partners • Support the broader AI & Data Office objectives by integrating data programmes with AI governance and data strategy initiatives

What we are looking for

• Strong leadership and team management experience with ability to coordinate across multiple divisions • Proven track record in planning and executing large-scale programmes and transformation initiatives • Strategic thinking with deep understanding of data culture development and organisational change management • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior leadership and diverse audiences • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with focus on programme impact and effectiveness • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to influence and drive culture change • Proactive, resourceful, and innovative approach to programme design and delivery • Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously • Experience in budget management and vendor coordination for large-scale initiatives • At least 8 years of working experience, with 3 years in a supervisory role PWDs are welcome to apply.
