What you will be working on

As a Executive Engineer (Operations), Water Reclamation Plant / Ulu Pandan Water Reclamation Plant, your responsibilities would include the following: • Manage, control, supervise and optimise day-to-day operations at Ulu Pandan WRP. Ensure that the shift and operations staff operate according to SOP, maintain the liquids and biosolids treatment processes efficiently, and ensure that the plant produce a final effluent that meets the standards of outfall discharge and quality fit for NEWater production. Able to attend to emergency calls or activation back to plant after office hours for work exigencies. Some site works include: o adjusting of flow distribution to treatment streams o adjusting of aeration, desludging, wasting controls on site o troubleshoot liquids and biosolids treatment processes and equipment issues • Analyse water/biosolids quality and other plant process data. Prepare and follow up on operational shift reports, monthly plant performance reports, data analysis and presentation. Data analysis is typically performed using Qliksense and Biowin modelling. Proficiency of these or other analytical software/programs would be an advantage. • Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors for maintenance activities, such as shutdown works and breakdown maintenance. Ensure maintenance schedule records are properly prepared and planned works are timely executed. • Raise, validate and approve Purchase Order (PO), Work Order (WO), Goods Receipt Note (GRN) and completion certificates (CC) and manage Asset Management System (AMS) for process tank maintenance and servicing, acquiring of materials, parts, equipment, and services for operations • Supervision of site works, and verification of works done. Check and vet service reports and supporting documents to certify payments. • Manage and prepare relevant safety documents and ensure safety requirements and guidelines are adhered to. Manage Notice-To-Work/Permit-To-Work, identify safety trainings for staff, conduct safety inspections, prepare/review Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures documents. • Manage WRP term contracts (supply, maintenance, operations) to ensure they are executed on time, according to specifications and within budget. • Develop and review contract specifications/ PEP papers, call and evaluate plant tenders/quotations. • Prepare, plan, coordinate and execute plant improvement or innovation projects to enhance operations, health and safety, and improve energy efficiency and productivity.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental Engineering, or other relevant Engineering Discipline. • Graduate with minimum 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply. • Able to work in used water treatment environment, and physically able to perform site works • Working location will be in Ulu Pandan Water Reclamation Plant (Non-Shift)
