What you will be working on
1. Strategic Planning for Community & School Outreach
a. Support Director to develop and formulate the overall Community & School Outreach Master Plan aligned with “One Team Singapore” and national priorities.
b. Identify, develop and maintain partnerships with government agencies, schools, IHLs, corporates, grassroots and ASEAN community groups.
c. Negotiate and oversee MOUs/partnership agreements, including roles, resource commitments and KPIs.
2. Community Engagement
a. Develop community outreach strategy and collaborate with community partners to engage different community groups and all other public members.
b. Plan and manage community engagement activations on the ground to engage different pockets of community, together with internal stakeholders.
c. Explore innovative formats and technologies to enhance youth engagement and satisfaction
3. Milestone Events & Signature Engagements
a. Support Director in conceptualisation and planning of milestone events.
b. Lead procurement and management of event management agencies, ensuring scope, budget and service standards are met.
c. Work with internal stakeholders (e.g. Marketing, Protocol, Venues Ops) to integrate community elements into major events.
4. Digital Engagement & Gamification
a. Co-lead, with GovTech and internal IT/marketing teams, the design and refinement of the Engagement Web App and gamification mechanics.
b. Define user journeys, points and rewards structure, and content calendar for digital challenges.
c. Use data and analytics to refine digital engagement strategy and integrate with on ground activities to enhance engagement levels.
What we are looking for
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile.
An ideal candidate should possess:
• Related qualification in Business, Marketing or related field
• Proven experience in marketing and/or community engagement roles and in conceptualising and executing nationwide public engagement events and programmes.
• Strong grasp of national community engagement frameworks, social mobilisation strategy and public communications.
• Skilled in building and sustaining high trust relationships with government agencies and schools and/or community partners and the proven ability to operate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in delivering large-scale public activations, school initiatives and roadshows.
• Awareness of digital engagement trends and ability to integrate technology (e.g. web apps, gamification, social media) into community outreach.
• Familiarity with the sports industry is an advantage.
• Creative thinker with strong organizational and project management skills and the ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities while comfortably navigating ambiguity and complexity.
• Ability to demonstrate strong ownership of outcomes, while ensuring timeliness and quality.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey ideas with clarity and influence.
• A team player who is resourceful and meticulous.
• Collaborative, supportive team lead who is able to build morale across diverse working teams.
