Assistant Manager/Manager Community Engagement

What you will be working on

1. Strategic Planning for Community Outreach a. Support the development and implementation of the Community & School Outreach Master Plan aligned with national priorities and the “One Team Singapore” movement. b. Conduct stakeholder mapping and outreach to identify partnership opportunities with government agencies, grassroots organisations, VWOs and ASEAN community groups. c. Support the drafting and administration of MOUs or partnership agreements, including tracking deliverables, timelines and KPIs. 2. Community Engagement a. Plan and execute community outreach activities and engagement events to build awareness and excitement for Major Games. b. Coordinate and manage ground activations with internal teams such as Marketing, Volunteer Management, Corporate Partnerships and SportSG. c. Develop briefing materials, engagement toolkits and activation guides for outreach teams and community partners. 3. Digital Engagement & Gamification (Engagement Web App) a. Support the development and operations of the Engagement Web App in collaboration with GovTech, IT and Marketing teams. b. Assist in designing and managing digital challenges, campaigns and gamification mechanics to drive public participation. c. Monitor participation data and engagement metrics to improve digital outreach effectiveness. 4. Milestone Events & Signature Engagements a. Support Assistant Director in the planning and delivery of milestone engagement events. b. Work closely with internal teams such as Protocol, Venues Operations and Marketing to integrate community engagement components into major events. c. Support on-site event management and coordination during engagement events. 5. Stakeholder Engagement a. Collaborate with community organisations, VWOs and public agencies to advance engagement efforts. b. Coordinate stakeholder briefings, updates and partnership activities. c. Track partnership outcomes and prepare reports on engagement impact and participation levels.

What we are looking for

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile. An ideal candidate should possess: • Related qualification in Business, Marketing or related field • Proven experience in marketing and/or community engagement roles and in conceptualising and executing nationwide public engagement initiatives and programmes. • Experience in delivering large-scale public activations, community events and roadshows. • Strong project management, coordination and stakeholder relationship skills. • Knowledgeable in digital engagement and gamification campaigns. • Familiarity with the sports industry is an advantage. • Organised, resourceful and detail-oriented, with strong project coordination ability. • People-oriented, able to connect with community members and partners. • Energetic and proactive, comfortable working in dynamic event environments. • Collaborative and supportive, contributing positively to team outcomes. • Passionate about sport and community engagement, with a strong sense of public purpose. All successful candidates will be offered a standard 3- year fixed term contract.
