SENIOR MANAGER, INTERNSHIP MANAGEMENT - CAREERS & GLOBAL IMMERSION
What the role is
What you will be working on
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Internship Programme Governance and Quality Assurance
Maintain and review internship policies, guidelines, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and compliance across programmes.
Analyse post-internship survey feedback from students and employers to monitor internship quality and learning outcomes.
Track key performance indicators and develop dashboards to provide insights into internship outcomes and programme effectiveness.
Identify trends and recommend improvements to strengthen internship experiences and industry relevance.
2. Internship Operations Management
Oversee the end-to-end operational delivery of the local internship programme.
Supervise the administrative team responsible for internship operations and ensure smooth execution of internship processes.
Manage internship cycle timelines, placement coordination, and operational workflows.
Ensure effective operation of the Internship Management System and accuracy of internship records.
Implement incident reporting and issue resolution protocols in accordance with governance frameworks.
3. Stakeholder Coordination and Industry Engagement
Work closely with Schools to coordinate internship placement pipelines and ensure alignment with programme requirements.
Support engagement with industry partners to facilitate internship placements and address operational matters.
Provide guidance and support to students, Schools, and employers on internship-related matters.
Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders to ensure smooth internship cycles.
4. Data Management and Reporting
Ensure accurate capture and management of internship data across systems.
Produce regular reports on internship participation, quality indicators, and outcomes.
Use data insights to inform programme improvements and support institutional reporting requirements.
5. Other Responsibilities
Undertake other duties that support the effective administration and continuous improvement of internship programmes.
What we are looking for
At least 2 years of relevant experience in programme management, internship management, industry engagement, or education administration.
Demonstrated experience in managing operational programmes involving multiple stakeholders, including coordination with internal teams and external partners.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with Schools, industry partners, students, and administrative units.
Experience in supervising teams or coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver programme outcomes.
Ability to analyse programme data, surveys, and feedback to generate insights and support continuous improvement.
A mature, organised and independent team player with strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage complex programme cycles.
