Manager / Licensing (Contract)
What the role is
What you will be working on
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our licensing team as the main touch-point for all animal and establishment licensing-related feedback. The work scope will range from design thinking for system development, processing applications, and administration of the licensing systems, to managing and engaging with pet owners and pet establishments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Improve licensing systems and processes through design thinking and stakeholder engagement with pet owners and establishments
- Oversee the processing of applications and renewals for animal establishments and pet licences
- Manage public feedback and enquiries related to licensing matters
- Provide support for departmental and organisational projects, including inter-agency projects and community engagement activities
What we are looking for
- Area of studies in animal health and welfare preferred
- Strong problem-solving, and written & verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and in a team
- Relevant working experience with public interaction would be advantageous
- Well-organised with good multi-tasking abilities
