What the role is

About CSA Established in 2015, the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) seeks to keep Singapore’s cyberspace safe and secure to underpin our Nation Security, power a Digital Economy and protect our Digital Way of Life. It maintains an oversight of national cybersecurity functions and works with sector leads to protect Singapore’s Critical Information Infrastructure. CSA also engages with various stakeholders to heighten cyber security awareness, build a vibrant cybersecurity ecosystem supported by a robust workforce, pursue international partnerships and drive regional cybersecurity capacity building programmes. What you will be working on

Responsibilities You will join and supervise a team to manage CSA’s international cyber policy work and cooperation, and in this role, engage both international parties and internal stakeholders on issues pertinent to CSA’s and Singapore’s cyber and digital security interests. Your role will involve: • Recommending CSA’s positions and responses with regard to international and regional developments that can impact Singapore’s strategic cyber and digital security interests and forging partnerships with other countries. • Implementation of cyber and digital security cooperation initiatives at both bilateral and regional platforms, and also build Singapore’s profile as a relevant player in international and regional cyber and digital security discussions. • Develop and drive the implementation of CSA’s Whole-of-Government International Engagement Strategy for Cyber and Digital Security, through the identification and conceptualisation of CSA’s strategic cyber and digital security-related interests, collaborate with international partners to design and deliver capacity-building programmes, and participate at international platforms to support the development of rules, norms, principles, and standards in cyberspace and security in the digital economy. • Your contributions will build Singapore’s overall cybersecurity capability and voice and influence in international cyber and digital security discussions.

What we are looking for

Requirements • Possess relevant tertiary qualifications. • Relevant experience international policy development/diplomacy experience. • Good understanding of geopolitical dynamics. • Strong analytical, writing and communication skills, a good command of English, and ability to engage with foreign counterparts. • Team player who possesses independent thinking and able to lead the team members to carry out the strategic directions set by Senior Management. • Keen interest in working in a fast-paced environment and be constantly exposed to emerging cyber and digital security issues. • Able to mentor and coach junior officers.
