You will be involved in developing and overseeing ICT-related projects and initiatives within HDB’s Building & Research Institute. This includes developing and implementing technology strategies to support the organisation’s objectives, managing technology infrastructure and systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective use of technology for business and research operations. Additionally, you will stay updated on emerging technologies and trends, providing technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders.

What you will be working on
You shall:
• Perform Project Management of third-party vendors in ICT-related projects
• Develop system architecture / plans for modernisation of existing systems (e.g. on-premise to cloud)
• Provide technical guidance and consultancy on ICT-related matters for business or research operations, including user engagements
• Maintain server environments and cybersecurity posture through performing patch management, technical updates, and troubleshooting
• Conduct risk assessments, develop specifications, and prepare submissions for procurement of ICT-related goods and services
• Perform external technology scans while reviewing and enhancing existing ICT processes
• Digitalise and automate business operations while building staff capability by conducting knowledge transfer sessions and briefings to key stakeholders
• Perform additional tasks and take on ad-hoc projects as required
What we are looking for
• Background in Information Systems/Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Proven experience or skills in ICT infrastructure administration, cybersecurity, and ICT project management
• Extensive understanding of cloud infrastructure and applications
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify solutions for stakeholders
• Detail-oriented individual who excels at organising tasks, information, and resources effectively
• Takes initiative and works proactively, with the ability to operate independently while contributing effectively to team objectives
• Knowledge and experience in systems management and governance
• Knowledge and experience in Building Information Modelling, Integrated Digital Delivery, or Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) will be an advantage.
Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract.
