Assistant Director, IP&D (Placemaking & Precinct Development)
What the role is
What you will be working on
Drive the implementation of our Arts Spaces Plan through strategic positioning, comprehensive analysis of current landscape and critical gaps, and development of innovative spatial frameworks for Singapore's future art spaces
Spearhead the Bras Basah-Bugis Precinct development initiative, conceptualising visionary development strategies and crafting compelling funding proposals to secure resources
Shape Singapore's arts infrastructure through expert urban planning and policy guidance, identifying emerging opportunities and addressing complex challenges from national master planning to vibrant local arts communities
Lead project management of consultancy contracts, facilitate inter-agency collaborations, deliver executive-level briefings to Council and Ministry leadership, and synthesise expert recommendations
Lead comprehensive analysis of arts space allocation and utilisation, maintaining Singapore's arts infrastructure database and serving as the voice on arts planning matters
Inspire high-performing teams whilst cultivating strategic partnerships across public and private sectors to unlock transformative opportunities for Singapore's arts community
What we are looking for
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and master planning, with a proven ability to develop and implement long-term strategies
- Experience in policy development and funding proposal preparation would be advantageous
- Extensive project management experience, including budget management, resource allocation, and timeline tracking
- Strong track record in stakeholder engagement and relationship management across multiple organisations and levels
- Advanced skills in data analytics, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity driving complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives to successful completion
