As an Assistant Manager in Planning & Risk Management, you will play a key role in strengthening the organisation’s business continuity and enterprise risk management (ERM) capabilities. You will be involved in coordinating continuity planning and exercises, and support the implementation of ERM plans, to enhance organisation’s overall resilience and readiness for disruptions.
What you will be working on
Enterprise Risk Management and Business Continuity Management
Business Continuity Management
- Coordinate NYP’s Business Continuity Plan, which involves working closely with organisation-wide stakeholders to conduct risk assessment and Business Impact Analysis (BIA), develop response and recovery plans, and facilitate exercises.
Enterprise Risk Management
- Support the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) secretariat in working with organisation-wide stakeholders to maintain the enterprise risk register, analyse Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and prepare management reports to distill key insights from multiple data sources.
- Coordinate training plans to build organisation’s capabilities in enterprise risk management, which include curating relevant training programmes.
- Support the roll out of ERM-related communication activities to raise organisation’s awareness of risk management.
Emergency Planning
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on incident escalation and reporting requirements and ensure organisation-wide alignment.
- Provide guidance to schools/departments on incident response plans for key emergency scenarios.
Event and Secretariat Support
- Support the organising and execution of events and committees under PRM’s ambit, as well as relevant administrative duties such as budget and procurement.
What we are looking for
- At least 3 to 5 years of work experience, preferably in the public sector.
- Having ERM or BCM-related certification (e.g., ISO 22301 / CBCP or equivalent) is an advantage, but not a requirement.
