What the role is

The Planning and Organisation Branch is a part of HTA’s Centre for Planning & Technology (CPT). The branch drives HTA’s strategic and corporate planning, resource planning, knowledge management, corporate governance and organisational development efforts. It also drives the alignment of systems, capabilities and behaviours to enable HTA’s transformation and organisational excellence so that HTA continues to be an effective and future-ready organisation. The job holder assists the Director of Centre for Planning & Technology in the strategic and corporate planning, governance matters and staff support for key HTA meetings.

What you will be working on

Key responsibilities include: • Assisting AD/P&O to - Facilitate HTA’s annual corporate planning process through a series of events such as the leaders’ retreats and corporate retreats and thereafter develop HTA’s annual and long-term workplans through consultations with HTA Centres; - Work with HTA Centres to formulate strategies to support HTA’s transformation; - Coordinate HTA’s Annual Workplan Seminar which involves planning of programme, monitoring of project deliverables and coordination of exhibition contents; • Support HTA’s Enterprise Risk Management in the area of developing HTA’s Internal Audit Framework and implementation of its processes and SOPs; • Manage the HTA KM portal which stores common resources for HTA staff and the Home Team Library; • Provide secretariat and staff support for HTA’s key meetings; and • Undertake secondary appointments, duties or projects that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

What we are looking for

• Working experience of at least 1 year would be an advantage; • Experience in strategic planning, resource planning, organisation development, knowledge management or corporate governance would be an advantage; • Ability to perceive and conceptualise ideas; • Strong knowledge of trends and issues affecting the Home Team; • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills; • Articulate with strong writing and presentation skills.
