What you will be working on

We are looking for a driven and organised individual to support the planning and implementation of an upcoming office renovation project. The officer will oversee the project from the development of project specifications through procurement, contractor management and project completion, ensuring that the renovation is delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with operational requirements. You will be responsible for the planning and execution of the office renovation project, including: • Developing and preparing project requirements, technical specifications, and scope of works for the renovation project. • Supporting the procurement process, including preparation of tender documentation and participation in evaluation of proposals. • Managing the appointed contractor(s) and vendors to ensure works are carried out according to contract requirements, timelines and quality standards. • Conducting site inspections and monitoring project progress to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and operational requirements. • Liaising with internal stakeholders to understand operational needs and incorporate them into the renovation design and implementation. • Coordinating staff engagement and communication relating to the renovation project, including managing workplace disruptions where required. • Preparing regular progress updates and reports for management. • Overseeing project completion, including defects management, final inspections and project handover.

What we are looking for

• Experience in project management, facilities management, office renovation, or building-related projects. • Experience in drafting specifications, scope of works, or tender documents would be advantageous. • Familiarity with procurement processes and contract management. • Strong stakeholder management, organisational and communication skills. • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage project timelines effectively.
