You will work in the Learning & Development Office (LDO), which is a corporate unit within the Civil Service College (CSC). LDO supports CSC's goal to be a future-ready centre of learning for the Singapore Public Service by implementing interventions to uplift both CSC and whole-of-government (WOG) learning and development (L&D) capabilities. LDO works in partnership with other institutes and departments within CSC to advance our efforts to enhance the practice of L&D for the Singapore Public Service.
As a LDO Capability Development Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our community engagement, content development, and operational excellence initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in learning and development operations within the public sector context.

What you will be working on
Community Management & Engagement
• Manage and moderate LDO's digital communities including – but not limited to – SG-Teams, Telegram channels, and other communication platforms
• Create, maintain, and regularly update L&D mailing lists using digital tools such as FormSG and Plumber
Content Creation & Design
• Design engaging Electronic Direct Mailers (EDMs) to support various LDO initiatives including – but not limited to – agency engagement activities, CSC L&D capability development programmes, clinic sessions, and community building communications when required
• Support the preparation of learning materials for LDO sessions, including session presentation decks and participant resource packs
Knowledge Management & Operational Support
• Package outputs from stakeholder engagements into practical learning artefacts such as job aids and reference materials
• Support the development of knowledge products that enhance L&D practice across the public service
• Provide logistical support for Agency Engagement sessions, including pre-session preparation, during-session coordination, and post-session follow-up activities
• Assist with administrative tasks that support the smooth operation of LDO programmes and initiatives
What we are looking for
Educational Background
• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Education, Communications, or related fields
• Interest in learning and development, public administration, or organisational capability building
Skills & Competencies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in design and digital communication tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), with willingness to learn new technologies
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team environment
Desirable Qualities
• Curiosity about learning and development challenges with comfort in ambiguous situations
• Interest in understanding how people learn and develop capabilities in workplace settings
• Familiarity with digital communication platforms and community management principles
• Experience with data analysis, user experience design, or collaborative solution development would be advantageous
