What the role is

Knowledge Management and Registry (KMR) is a team under the Finance, Systems and Projects (FSP) Directorate. You will lead MOF’s knowledge and records management team — driving a strong knowledge culture and overseeing registry operations, while working with partners to transform knowledge and records management processes and systems across the Public Service.

What you will be working on

Key results areas include: • Management of records and declassification requests within MOF, including research into the organisation’s rich archives, to ensure access to institutional knowledge, as well as compliance with security and archival requirements. • Work with partners, including GovTech and NAS, on Whole-of-Government system initiatives such as InfoVault, to transform knowledge and records management across the Public Service. • Drive innovation initiatives, such as the use of AI digital transformation efforts in records review and declassification, to address operational pain points and emerging needs. • Translating knowledge and records management policies into practical guidance and processes for officers. • Fostering a strong knowledge culture across MOF, working with Knowledge Custodians and Knowledge Activists from to improve practices, adoption and capabilities in all directorates.

What we are looking for

• Proven track record in leading cross-functional or cross-agency initiatives that involve business process reviews, digital transformation or change management. • Prior experience in knowledge management, records management and corporate services is advantageous. • Prior supervisory experience, including setting direction, managing performance and building capability. • Strong ability to translate policy intent into practical, scalable processes and systems. • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
