What you will be working on
- Develop and implement initiatives that strengthen professional grounding, enhance career progression, and foster professional identity for psychologists and Research Executives
- Review professional competency frameworks, training roadmaps, career roadmaps, and expertise development requirements for various job roles within the community
- Collaborate with external agencies to promote best practices and establish professional standards for DPC
- Monitor training transfer to the workplace and conduct post-course training evaluations to ensure training relevance and optimisation of training resources
- Implement knowledge exchange initiatives to foster a professional learning culture
- Assist Group Heads in designing competency-based assessments and practice guidelines
- Develop and coordinate onboarding programmes for new DPC members and execute outreach, recruitment, and selection systems for psychologists
- Conduct annual structured job rotation exercises for psychologists
- Oversee management of National Servicemen on Enhanced Expert Deployment Scheme and SAF Volunteer Corps

- Operating at the strategic level within a specialist headquarters environment to provide system-level solutions for DPC
- Working and adapting within a military culture while maintaining a keen orientation towards applying psychology principles and knowledge effectively
What we are looking for
- Education in Psychology, Human Resource Management, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in HR management, with preference for candidates with training psychology expertise and experience in professional development systems
- Strong interest in leveraging new technologies to enhance work processes with appreciation of unique organisational context and issues is advantageous
- Strong analytical and adaptability skills to improve training content and methodology to meet changing needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish strong partnerships and collaborations with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage ambiguity and work comfortably in teams, including outdoor and fieldwork environments
