What the role is

Join us at IRAS and be part of Singapore’s transformation of GST administration through e-invoicing. As a Manager / Senior Manager, you will play a key role in policy formulation and implementation and stakeholder engagement for the GST InvoiceNow Requirement.

At IRAS, you will have the opportunity to apply your tax and digital knowledge in a diverse range of tax administration fields, and play a vital role in shaping the future of tax administration.

What you will be working on

As part of the GST InvoiceNow (GIN) team, you will be involved in the following key areas:

Develop and implement GST InvoiceNow policies.
Work with Whole of Government partners to ensure ecosystem readiness and smooth implementation of e-invoicing.
Handle industry and stakeholder queries on the GST InvoiceNow Requirement.
Participate in engagements with key industry stakeholders and international counterparts on e-invoicing.
Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance taxpayer compliance and operational effectiveness.

What we are looking for

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
A degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
Strong knowledge of GST, tax administration, e-invoicing or regulatory policy implementation.
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with a structured and systematic approach to work.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
A curious mindset with the ability to question, probe, and improve existing policies and processes.
