What the role is

The HR Digital & Experience team focuses on improving how HR works. We redesign processes, embed technology where it adds value, and shape a more seamless employee experience across the HR lifecycle. We do not simply digitalise existing processes.We diagnose gaps, redesign workflows, and implement practical solutions so that HR operations are clearer, more scalable, and easier to navigate. Your role is to support the transformation of HR operations by redesigning processes, improving employee experiences, and applying technology and AI where it makes a meaningful difference.

What you will be working on

As a Project Manager, you will work closely with HR teams in the following areas: 1) Reimagine and Redesign HR Operations Across the Lifecycle • Lead the redesign of key HR journeys (e.g. recruitment, onboarding, internal mobility, confirmation, offboarding), simplifying fragmented processes into clearer and more intuitive flows for employees, managers, and HR • Map current processes to identify breakdowns (e.g. delays, unclear ownership, unnecessary steps), and redesign them to improve clarity and efficiency • Review existing policies and workflows critically, reducing unnecessary complexity while ensuring governance requirements are met • Balance operational efficiency with employee experience, so processes are not only compliant, but also practical and easy to navigate 2) Diagnose Gaps and Design Tech-Agnostic Solutions • Analyse HR workflows end-to-end to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas that rely heavily on manual coordination • Translate these into clear problem statements and design practical solutions, which may involve: o Workflow automation to reduce manual handoffs o AI-enabled tools to support decision-making and reduce effort o System enhancements or integrations to improve data flow and visibility • Assess and implement the most appropriate solution based on the problem, rather than defaulting to a specific system or tool • Ensure solutions are practical to implement, scalable across the organisation, and aligned with HR policies and operating needs 3) Embed AI into HR Workflows to Augment Decision-Making As part of building a more tech-enabled HR, you will explore how AI can support decision-making and improve productivity across the HR lifecycle. You will: • Design AI-enabled use cases across HR domains such as recruitment, HR advisory, talent development, employee experience and HR operations • Identify where AI can reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and support better decision-making • Apply AI thoughtfully to augment human judgment, with appropriate governance and safeguards 4) Translate Business Needs into Functional Design and Systems • Develop functional design specifications, including workflow logic, data structures, and approval rules • Work closely with developers (in-house or vendor) to translate requirements into system builds • Ensure that tech solutions accurately reflect HR intent and are intuitive for users 5) Drive Project Delivery, Build, Testing and Implementation • Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment across stakeholders, timelines, and dependencies • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by designing test scenarios, defining success criteria, and validating usability • Identify gaps and drive resolution with HR and tech stakeholders • Ensure systems are not only functional, but practical for day-to-day use 6) Lead Change Management and Drive Adoption • Plan and support change management efforts to help users transition to new ways of working • Develop clear, user-friendly communications and training materials • Work with HR teams to build confidence and adoption of new processes and tools.

What we are looking for

• You have a good understanding of HR operations across the employee lifecycle, with experience in reviewing or improving processes. Experience in HR transformation, HRBP, or HR digitalisation would be advantageous. • You are able to structure problems clearly, identify root causes, and translate them nto practical solutions. • You are familiar with HR systems or digital tools, and are comfortable exploring how AI can be applied in a practical way. • You communicate clearly and are able to engage stakeholders across HR, technology, and business teams. • You are comfortable working in ambiguous situations and can move between planning and execution. • You are user-centric in your approach, with a keen eye for experience design and clarity, ensuring solutions are intuitive and impactful. All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
