Lead/Engineer, Operational Excellence, Digital Experience Platform, xCloud

As a Lead Engineer/Engineer, Operational Excellence, Digital Experience Platform, xCloud in HTX, you will collaborate with key stakeholders in the delivery of ICT application systems. This includes eliciting business needs and analysing business problems in order to define and deliver suitable ICT solutions to address business needs.

The job-holder will be responsible to project manage, ensure deliverables meet business objectives and propose feasible solutions for the identified projects or systems, which include the following: • Work with various key stakeholders to elicit, scope and manage the business requirements • Conceptualise the project, develop the business case for approval • Translate business requirements into Technical specifications • Manage and execute the procurement of the ICT application system in a timely manner • Evaluate and recommend the solution that best address the needs • Manage the vendors to develop and deliver the solution • Identify, manage project risks and implications to the project and to recommend mitigating measures • Manage contractual and payment matters affecting the projects and ensure that systems are operating according to service level agreements • Understand the various prevailing policies and security guidelines and to ensure the system and processes are designed to comply with these policies and guidelines • Drive awareness of the existing products and capabilities in the organisation • Collaborate with product managers on roadmap planning and workforce optimisation

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology/Computer Science/Engineering or relevant disciplines. • 3-5 years of relevant working experience preferred. Fresh graduates with strong aptitude and relevant internships/projects are welcome to apply. • Participated in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) is an advantage, with past development experience. • Good analytical, interpersonal, communications, presentation and facilitation skills. • Strong writing skills, preferably with experience in drafting papers for requirements/budget approval. Candidates may be required to submit an essay as part of the selection process. • Competent, self-motivated, pro-active, dedicated and responsible self-starter. • Demonstrate keen interest in keeping up with technology through regular certifications, taking up courses and wide readings on technology matters. • Experience or working knowledge in at least one of the following areas (Cloud, DevSecOps, Agile Methodologies, Data Analytics, Design Thinking) will be an added advantage. All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
