We are seeking dedicated Data Processing Officers (DPO) to join the Surveillance Camera Unit (SCU) within the Traffic Police. In this critical back-end operations role, you will process and validate images of traffic violations across Singapore. Your work will directly support Singapore’s intensified road safety enforcement efforts and help address the rising trend of speeding violations.

What you will be working on
Image Validation and Data Processing
• Accurately validate images of speeding offences from TP’s enforcement cameras.
• Ensure vehicle numbers are clearly captured and not obstructed, and that speed thresholds are met.
• Process each violation efficiently, aiming to complete validation within 2 minutes per case.
Timely Enforcement Support
• Process images promptly to prevent delays or backlogs in enforcement actions.
• Generate approved reports for further processing before tickets are issued to vehicle owners.
• Support the Surveillance Camera Unit in managing the increased volume of violations as enforcement expands.
Quality Assurance and Supervision
• Officers may also move on to perform supervision of back-end processing team and ensure high standards of accuracy.
• Contribute to improving Singapore's road safety through diligent enforcement support.
What we are looking for
REQUIREMENTS
• Proficiency in data entry and processing.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• No prior experience is required as training will be provided. However, applicants with experiences in traffic enforcement and with supervisory experience are welcome to apply.
• Ability to handle prolonged screen time and maintain focus on detailed tasks.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Committed, resilient, and able to work under pressure.
• Demonstrate integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.
