The intern will support the launch of the talent portal for cybersecurity, and assist SG Cyber Youth*, a national initiative under WSPD, in the planning, coordination and delivery of Youth Cyber Exploration Programme (YCEP) 2026 bootcamps, Central Capture-the-Flag (CCTF), and related outreach initiatives.
The role goes beyond marketing and provides exposure to programme operations, stakeholder coordination across IHLs, curriculum testing, participant experience design, digital platform development, and post-event evaluation.
*SG Cyber Youth aims to nurture cybersecurity interest from a young age and strengthen Singapore’s cybersecurity talent pipeline through structured engagement programmes across
secondary schools and IHLs.

What you will be working on
The intern will be assigned to the talent portal project as the primary responsibility, supporting its launch and ongoing operations. Additionally, the intern will support end-to-end programme execution across multiple institutions and engagement touchpoints.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Talent Portal Project:
1. Support operational tasks and coordination required for the talent portal's launch (e.g., clearing requirements, information collection).
2. Support testing and refinement of the talent portal (user experience, functionality, engagement flow).
3. Assist in content curation and user experience design for student users.
4. Support rollout activities and coordination for all the talent programmes on the talent portal.
5. Assist in stakeholder coordination with the talent portal team and partners.
6. Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates to expedite development.
SG Cyber Youth:
1. Support planning and coordination of YCEP 2026 bootcamps conducted across various IHLs, including on-ground execution across IHLs.
2. Assist in the execution of the Central Capture-the-Flag (CCTF) competition.
3. Support testing and refinement of the centralised YCEP curriculum (user experience, clarity, engagement flow).
4. Consolidate and analyse After-Action Reports (AARs) from polytechnics and partners, and track programme metrics (participation numbers, feedback trends, engagement insights).
5. Coordinate outreach activities and support stakeholder management with IHL partners and student groups.
The intern will gain exposure to national-level programme operations and ecosystem coordination.
Tasks you can expect (but not limited to) includes:
• Assist in design and development of programme materials for SG Cyber Talent Programmes (EDMs, slides, event briefs, feedback forms, social media captions where relevant).
• Conduct basic data cleaning and preparation for reporting, where relevant.
What we are looking for
•Strong organisational and coordination skills
•Comfortable engaging with students and IHL stakeholders
•Able to analyse feedback and synthesise insights
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
•Familiar with basic design tools (Canva / Figma / Illustrator preferred)
•Strong written communication skills
•Ability to provide student perspective and user experience feedback
•Interest in cybersecurity ecosystem development is a plus
•Technical coding experience is not required.
