What you will be working on
System Management
- Ensure that all sensors and surveillance systems are up and running.
• Support deployment, operations and sustainment of sensors and surveillance systems for day-to-day routine use, security operations and contingencies.
• Manage the sustainment of all Police sensors and surveillance systems under maintenance (includes PolCam, Public Camera Zones (PCZ), Hawk Eye Remote Observation System (HEROES), Body Worm Cameras (BWC), In-Vehicle Video Recording System (IVVRS), comprising a total of more than 100,000 sensors/ locations across 17 systems island-wide).
• Evaluate, review, design and recommend the technical design of systems during tech refresh or enhancements. Formulate proper Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks and schedule for all the systems. Track the timely execution of PM and ensure that systems are up and running.
Contract Management
- Ensure that all contracts are renewed promptly.
• Review scope of contracts. Evaluate Budgetary Quotation, Prepare AOR/ Tech Annex/ PSIRC submission/ Contract Variation/ Tender Specifications.
Incident Management
- Respond and manage Cybersecurity incidents and Cybersecurity Tabletop Exercises.
• To detect, respond, contain, eradicate, recover and post-incident activities. Participate in internal exercises for different cyber threat scenarios. Prepare/ review of SOP and playbooks. Analyse/ evaluate vendor’s technical proposal and recommend the course of action.
Stakeholder and Vendor Management
- Ensure that all systems meet the operational and contractual requirements, such as service level agreements.
• Stakeholder engagement at the working levels for system planning, solutioning and sustainment to support Police Operations, both day-to-day and for major Police operations.
• Establish good working relationship with vendors with the view to ensure effective service level agreement and service/ support.
What we are looking for
• Tertiary qualification in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Minimally 2 years’ relevant experience, preferably in project/ system management. Preferably possesses good track record in leadership skills including stakeholder engagement, people management, vendor, and contract management.
• Positive working attitude, and able to manage projects.
• Problem solving skills, and high resilience to stress.
All new appointees will be appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance.
