What you will be working on
• Build realistic, challenging, and relevant exercise scenarios that meet strategic and operational exercise objectives for stakeholders from government agencies and Critical Information Infrastructure Owners (CIIOs);
• Provide end-to-end cyber exercise support including scheduling, coordinating, and conducting planning meetings/workgroup meetings, identifying and escalating issues and risks, developing high-quality deliverables, and exercising facilitation;
• Capture key observations during cyber exercises and make insightful conclusions based on exercise objectives;
• Gather and analyse facts and recommend solutions into briefings, papers or reports for senior management;
• Support various cyber exercises including Seminars, Workshops, Functional Exercises (using cyber ranges), Tabletop Exercises (TTX), and Operational Exercises;
• Supervise external consultants’ work to ensure that exercise objectives and outcomes are achieved;
• Assist in the procurement of services for cyber exercises and manage the appointed vendor;
• Develop and validate emergency response plans with key government stakeholders;
• Review cybersecurity readiness assessment framework to support gap analysis and improve capabilities.
What we are looking for
• General degree, preferably in Information Technology or related field; professional certification in cyber/information security is a plus;
• Ability to quickly understand the various types of cyber threats and attack vectors, consequences of cyber-attacks, and security operations and controls;
• Strong project management skills including planning, coordinating, and executing conferences, workgroup meetings, and interim progress reviews;
• Experience in planning and conducting exercises and preparing reports is preferred; knowledge in national crisis preparedness and coordination is an advantage;
• Analytical and observant with excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills;
• Effective team player who can also work independently.
