Research Specialist / Senior Research Specialist
What the role is
What you will be working on
Research Management and Operations
- End-to-end project management of the National Quality of Life study.
- Oversee procurement processes and manage relationships with external research vendors, ensuring deliverables meet specifications and timelines
- Design and refine questionnaires in collaboration with policy stakeholders
- Maintain comprehensive data management protocols and conduct thorough cross-checking procedures to ensure data integrity throughout the research lifecycle
Data Analysis and Insights
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis of longitudinal data, identifying trends, patterns, and translating them into clear, relevant, actionable insights for senior management and non-technical stakeholders
- Develop compelling data visualisations that effectively communicate complex research findings to diverse audiences
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government policy units, collaborating on research priorities and lines of enquiry that align with policy objectives.
- Facilitate iterative analysis processes based on stakeholder feedback and emerging policy questions
- Present findings through various channels including formal presentations, written reports, and stakeholder briefings, adapting communication style to suit different audiences.
- Lead dissemination activities to sector stakeholders, ensuring research findings reach relevant practitioners and decision-makers
Team Collaboration
- Work effectively within a close-knit team environment, contributing to collective goals whilst taking individual ownership of assigned responsibilities
