What the role is

This role reports to the Principal Manager (Data Capability, Change and Adoption) and supports organisation‑wide adoption of Data and AI initiatives through a combination of strategic engagement, change management and community‑building.

The role works closely with business units, technical teams and enterprise stakeholders to ensure Data and AI initiatives are strategically aligned, well‑understood and sustainably adopted across the organisation. Officers in this role are expected to share responsibilities flexibly, covering both strategy‑facing and culture‑building workstreams as required.

What you will be working on

Key responsibilities include:

  • Build, manage and sustain Data and AI communities of practice across the organisation.

  • Design and deliver Data and AI engagement activities such as showcases, sharing sessions, learning events and talks.

  • Act as a front-facing engagement point for business units exploring AI opportunities.

  • Facilitate discussions to surface Data and AI use-cases and support officers in problem-framing and awareness of AI possibilities and constraints.

  • Translate Data and AI concepts and initiatives into accessible narratives for non-technical audiences.

  • Gather adoption insights and feedback to inform planning and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for

  • At least 3–5 years of experience in engagement, change or programme delivery roles.

  • Strong facilitation and communication skills.

  • Experience running engagement or community-building initiatives.

  • Applied understanding of Data and AI concepts.

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
