[LTA-PT] DEPUTY/ASSISTANT MANAGER, FACILITIES MANAGEMENT (ASSETS)
What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be part of a dynamic team who operate and maintain the station and co-located immigrations building to support the RTS Link cross border train services and immigration operations. You will play a vital role in ensuring the high performance of the RTS Link Facility equipment and infrastructure by utilising a data-centric approach and working closely with the appointed facilities management contractor and various manufacturers.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement asset management strategies and oversee the implementation of engineering projects to optimise maintenance works and achieve sustainability outcomes. You will evaluate any asset modification and renewal requests, taking into account factors such as maintainability, supportability and cost. You will also conduct investigations to identify asset performance issues and oversee asset enhancement plans and condition monitoring capabilities to improve the performance and durability of the assets.
What we are looking for
Minimum 10 years of experience in transport facility management, complex infrastructure operations, or equivalent large-scale built environment projects.
Knowledge in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical discipline.
Proven track record in asset management implementation, including maintenance planning, performance monitoring, and contractor oversight.
Demonstrated experience in conducting technical audits (maintenance, asset condition, compliance) and establishing quality assurance frameworks for contractor performance.
Experience with sustainability initiatives and performance management systems in large facilities.
Knowledgeable in compliance requirements for transport or critical infrastructure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to engage diverse internal and external parties.
Resourceful approach to manage challenges with ability to adapt to evolving priorities in a dynamic environment.
