As an Assistant Engineer/Senior Assistant Engineer for the Catchment and Waterways Department, Reservoir Management Division, your main roles and responsibilities would include but not limited to:

What you will be working on
• Collect original documents from Investigation Officers, prepare Notices of Offence and warning letters for approved enforcement cases, and submit enforcement documents to Legal Office.
• Update and monitor case statuses in the enforcement system, serve reminder letters, and track enforcement progress to ensure adherence to required timelines.
• Coordinate with agencies to verify offender locations and updated addresses for returned correspondence, and conduct physical visits where necessary to hand over notices.
• Review monthly silt monitoring system maintenance reports, prepare and compile supporting documents for submission, obtain necessary endorsements, and process payment claims.
• Monitor enforcement system performance, provide user feedback, and submit bug reports to ensure the system meets the regulatory unit's operational requirements.
What we are looking for
• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent, preferably Civil/Structural/Environmental
• Preferably with at least 2-3 years of working experience
• Independent, meticulous, result-oriented, and self-driven team player with good communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Able to effectively communicate and interact with members of the public on enforcement matters
