Deputy Director, Land Titles Registry
You will assist the Director, Land Titles Registry to:
• Administer the Land Titles Act and the Land Titles (Strata) Act
• Review, formulate and implement legislation and policies to ensure continued relevance
• Supervise the operations of the Registry to ensure timely and accurate registration of property transactions
• Initiate and drive process improvement projects to uphold a pro-business, efficient and effective land registration and public search system
• Monitor and manage the Registry’s budget, expenditure and key performance indicators
• Provide guidance and coaching to staff
• Advise and deal with internal and external stakeholders on land titling issues
Requirements
• Recognised qualification in Law & an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore
• At least 10 to 15 years conveyancing experience in a law firm, of which 5 years should be in a supervisory position
• Possess good interpersonal, leadership and problem solving skills
• Ability to perform under pressure and respond to issues expeditiously
