You will play a vital role in conducting regular reviews of operational policies and penalty framework to deter fare evasion on public transport. This will include engaging stakeholders and industry players to develop policy options, perform statistical analysis on fare evasion trends, drafting papers and review supporting legislation to ensure that the penalty framework remains relevant and adequate. You will be responsible for planning, communicating and evaluating the implementation of policy initiatives such as developing operating guidelines and procedures. You will oversee daily operations, manage complex feedback/appeals from passengers and conduct investigations on fare evasion matters to ensure service delivery targets are met. You will also undertake policy, regulatory, and operational responsibilities relating to point to point (P2P) transport services fare regulation matters. This includes processing fare lodgements from P2P operators, monitoring developments in the P2P landscape, liaising with operators and relevant agencies to ensure compliance with applicable fare policies, and managing public feedback. You will review and update fare policy orders to reflect changes in industry conditions and support regulatory reviews involving multiple stakeholders.
