What you will be working on
- Support the development, coordination and deployment of OSIT strategies, plans and initiatives across DIS to enhance operational effectiveness and technological capabilities
- Manage and govern the DIS's OSIT processes, including reviews, audits and implementation of OSIT initiatives and capabilities
- Interface with policy teams and operations personnel to ensure strategic alignment and effective coordination of cross-cutting initiatives
- Coordinate with diverse stakeholders to align OSIT requirements with organisational priorities and operational needs
- Provide oversight and governance for complex OSIT projects from conception through implementation and evaluation
- Conduct strategic assessments and reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and capability enhancement
- Support the integration of OSIT solutions across different operational domains and functional areas within DIS
Challenge(s)
- Managing operational requirements whilst working within available resources and budget constraints to deliver maximum value and impact
- Managing stakeholders with varying requirements, priorities and expectations whilst maintaining project momentum and strategic alignment
What we are looking for
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or Cybersecurity is preferred
- At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in IT and/or Cybersecurity with demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and implementation
- Good conceptual and analytical skills with ability to assess complex technical and operational challenges
- Excellent writing and networking skills with strong critical thinking abilities and adaptability to changing environments
- Ability to multitask effectively and work in a dynamic environment whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently with strong self-direction and initiative in managing multiple priorities
- Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination in complex organisational environments
- Understanding of operations support systems and IT governance frameworks would be advantageous
- Strong project management skills with experience in managing strategic initiatives and capability development programmes
