The Singapore Police Force (SPF) plays a critical role in keeping Singapore safe and secure with our mission to prevent, deter and detect crime.
Criminal Records Office manages the records collected under the Registration of Criminals Act (RCA) 1949. Our primary role is to ensure that Register of Criminals is promptly and accurately updated to uphold criminal justice and the general preservation of community safety in Singapore.
As a Criminal Records Officer, you play an important role in maintaining the Register and providing investigation support to law enforcement agencies.
You will be placed under the Management Executive Scheme.

What you will be working on
You will be trained to support investigation operations proficiently using the relevant investigation systems, in accordance with the relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
You will advise various SPF units and law enforcement agencies and will engage and support them in the areas relating to criminal records and investigation leads. You will have the opportunity to be part of project teams to enhance systems and processes of the Register of Criminals.
You are also required to process requests from Investigation Officers promptly within a stipulated timeframe.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a pro-active and dynamic individual to be part of our Criminal Records Office.
REQUIREMENTS
• Possess good interpersonal skills and prepared to engage defendants and members of public;
• Meticulous and independent worker who can carry out responsibilities with minimum supervision. Good time management and be able to meet tight deadlines;
• IT savvy with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and familiarity with using database systems; and
• Prior experience in records management, legal environment, management/development of IT systems or in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) would be an advantage.
