NPCC Store Officer - SPF/ NPCC HQ

Its mission is to develop our members to be active citizens and community leaders, by working in partnership with the Singapore Police Force to fight crime and keep Singapore safe. As a NPCC Store Officer in the NPCC Headquarters (HQ) based in Home Team Academy (HTA), you play a crucial role in ensuring effective procurement, asset management, and logistical support to all NPCC events and activities. You will be providing essential services to the NPCC community in a dynamic and challenging environment. You will be placed under the Management Executive Scheme

You will be trained to carry out various duties in accordance with Government Instruction Manual, NPCC Directives, Police General Order, and Police Logistics Instructions. Your key responsibilities will include: • Providing comprehensive logistical support for all NPCC events and activities, including reconnaissance trips to venues and on-site monitoring • Managing timely and accurate procurement processes, from drafting specifications to processing purchase orders and ensuring quality delivery • Conducting asset management activities including monitoring fixed asset listings, coordinating condemnation processes, and maintaining accurate records • Coordinating annual uniform distribution for all Secondary School NPCC units within specified timeframes • Liaising with ST Logistical store staff regarding procedures and updates • Conducting training sessions for newly appointed teachers and officer commanding units • Maintaining effective filing systems for procurement, asset management, and logistics documentation

We are looking for a proactive and experienced individual to manage all matters relating to procurement, asset management, and logistics whilst serving as a liaison officer for Home Team Cadet Corps HQ stores. REQUIREMENTS • Minimum 5 years working experience in procurement, fixed asset management, or logistics-related environment • Basic knowledge of IT systems (training will be provided) • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision • Valid driving licence preferred for transportation of logistics items • Knowledge of government procurement procedures would be an advantage Short-listed candidates will be notified within two weeks after the closing date for applications.
