What you will be working on
To support the coordination and planning for Southeast Asian (SEA) Games and ASEAN Para Games (APG) 2029 which includes:
o Studying and framing emergent areas that are of impact to the Games’ success
o Conducting research on best practices and legacy initiatives of major Games, and applications for the 2029 Games
o Supporting and staffing the Games meetings, learning trips, and workshops
o Working with functional groups to coordinate and develop their foundation plans
o Supporting the development of a knowledge management framework
o Liaising with functional groups to ensure that knowledge is adequately captured, organised, and shared for planning and learning purposes
What we are looking for
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active.
In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following:
o A general degree in any discipline
o Preferably with at least 2-3 years of relevant working experience with background in sport management or business administration, and experience as a project administrator in multi-disciplinary projects
o Self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community.
o Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
o Strong analytical skills and good business acumen.
o Good oral and written communication with interpersonal skills. Able to deal with numbers.
o Resourceful and able to work independently as well as a team
o Proficient computer skills (standard software applications such as MS Office, email communications and internet research)
