As a (Senior) Research Analyst in the Research and Management Information Division, you will be part of a dynamic team comprising data analysts, psychologists and psychometricians dedicated to harnessing data-driven insights to advance educational practice and policy formulation in MOE. This position also offers opportunities to develop and strengthen your research and analytical skills while gaining broad exposure to various issues in education.

What you will be working on
• Plan and execute large-scale surveys, including designing psychometric survey instruments to assess attitudes, perceptions and non-academic competencies
• Utilise advanced data analysis techniques and tools to extract, clean and analyse data, and identify meaningful trends and actionable insights
• Provide consultancy on research methodology, survey design and related areas to support stakeholders in using and deriving meaningful insights from their data
• Develop data visualisation solutions, including dashboards, reports and interactive visualisations, to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders
• Communicate and translate research findings into actionable recommendations for policy and practice
What we are looking for
• Relevant training in data science, mathematics, information technology, psychometrics or a related field
• A team player with strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects with simultaneous deadlines
• Familiarity with statistical software/ programming languages such as Python and R
• Prior experience in the end-to-end process of designing instruments, collecting, analysing and visualising data to derive actionable insights for policy making would be an advantage
