As a Senior Assistant /Assistant Director in the Project Office, you will lead the strategic development and redevelopment of recreational facilities and spaces for migrant workers, with the primary objective of de-densifying community hotspots and minimising public disamenities. This encompasses managing large-scale multi-year development projects, reinstatement or demolition works, and establishing short-term temporary recreational spaces. The role contributes to ACE’s objectives by supporting the social and recreational needs of migrant workers.

What you will be working on
• Lead the development of comprehensive project plans for recreational facilities for migrant workers, managing all phases from initial design through to construction
• Analyse and distil business and operational requirements against spatial constraints, technical feasibility and budget parameters to determine optimal project scope and design solutions
• Translate user needs and business requirements for recreational spaces into detailed specifications for design, construction and operations
• Lead a team of officers to project manage the redevelopment projects and coordinate with multiple stakeholders (government authorities, consultants, contractors etc) to ensure seamless project execution
• Manage budget allocation, monitor expenditure and oversee the contract and financing frameworks throughout the entire project lifecycle
• Oversee procurement processes, lead consultant and contractor selection, and ensure contract management compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational policies.
• Proactively identify project derailers and provide concise status updates to senior management with impact assessment and viable alternative solutions to enable swift decision-making.
What we are looking for
• Minimum 8 years of work experience in related field, preferably in project management and with at least 5 years’ experience in supervisory role
• Excellent written and spoken skills.
• Proven track record in stakeholder management; have good interpersonal skills to liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
• Critical thinking skills to analyse complex and multi-factorial issues.
• Able to work independently or as a team, and adaptable to changes
