What the role is

The Senior Manager will lead and drive the strategic communications and digital marketing plans, and transformation works that focus on key programmes like Chingay and PAssionArts to enhance outreach and engagement. Working closely with the Deputy Director / Assistant Director and the team, this role manages data-driven campaigns, digital content, and media relations to enhance brand visibility and community engagement. The position develops strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, oversees integrated marketing efforts across digital and traditional platforms, and builds meaningful relationships with sponsors and community partners to strengthen ACD's arts and culture outreach. Through these efforts, the Senior Manager supports the division in delivering impactful community-focused arts initiatives and experiences.

What you will be working on

The Senior Manager will lead and drive the strategic communications and digital marketing plans, and transformation works that focus on key programmes like Chingay and PAssionArts to enhance outreach and engagement. You will also be managing partnerships and community engagement initiatives, fostering stronger relationships with stakeholders and expanding reach to better serve the community.

Duties & Responsibilities

Communication and Marketing
• Lead the planning and execution of integrated communications for both traditional (mainstream, media release, out-of-homes) and digital platforms, marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (social media, website, SEO/SEM) for ACD's key programmes including Chingay and PAssionArts.
• Build and maintain relationships with media stakeholders, oversee creation of PR materials (media releases, media advisories, press kits, speeches, talking points, etc), prepare spokespersons for media interviews and support crisis management.
• Stay on top of marketing trends and communication platforms/assets to recommend and implement effective messaging strategies for the division's programmes.
• Plan and support digital platform management, including the Chingay website content updates, while working with vendors to implement communications and publicity plans for Chingay and PAssionArts programmes.

Partners Relationship Manager
• Develop and build strategic partnerships with partners to enhance and promote collaborative efforts as well as identifying and developing new partners.
• Establish and maintain a good network of partners and stakeholders to identify new areas of growth and enhance community outreach for PAssionArts and Chingay programmes.
• Support expansion of sponsorship opportunities for division’s programmes including Chingay and PAssionArts.

Community Engagement Programme
• Support community engagement initiatives/programmes to enable active residents’ participation and co-creation content, which will be presented at Chingay and/or suitable PAssionArts platforms.
• Build strategic partnership with internal and external partners to enhance the programming of these initiatives/programmes to achieve social outcomes.
• Evaluate programme outcomes and make recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of the initiatives/ programmes.

Other Duties
• Serve as part of ACD’s procurement team to ensure procurement works adhere to prevailing Financial and Procurement guidelines.
• Perform secretarial and other duties as assigned by the senior officers of ACD.

What we are looking for

Knowledge & Skills
Minimum At least three years of working experience in media / digital marketing / communication, events and/or project management

Desired At least five years of working experience in media / digital marketing / communication, events and/or project management, and good knowledge of the arts sector

Others
• Strong administrative, digital marketing and communication skills
• Experience with digital content management systems, including Isomer and office productivity tools
• Meticulous and able to work independently
• Resourceful and highly motivated to seek out partners and sponsors
• Good knowledge of events planning and coordination
• Able to work well under pressure and tight timelines; willing to work long and irregular hours and on weekends for community engagement
