What the role is

You are responsible to monitor contractor performance and enforce contractual standards for Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) at the Naval Base. You ensure high availability of general facilities while enforcing governance and compliance to finance and procurement processes for Building and Infrastructure (BI) works.

What you will be working on

- Monitor contractor performance on general facilities jobs and enforce contractual standards to drive improvements in IFM service delivery - Ensure availability and serviceability of general facilities including streetlights, wharf lights, roads and air-conditioning systems across the Naval Base - Execute governance and compliance procedures for finance and procurement processes on BI works - Work closely with Technical Officers to develop and execute recovery plans for facility defects and maintenance works - Track progress of facilities maintenance works including follow-up actions from quarterly camp inspections and Annual Land Building Inspections - Optimise resources and leverage networks to assess operational impact and prioritise recovery works for optimal facility readiness - Apply appropriate contractual levers to manage outsourced contractors and Service Partners for timely and quality work completion Challenge(s) - Managing high availability of general facilities across a large Naval Base with multiple potential defects occurring simultaneously, requiring effective resource optimisation and prioritisation of recovery works - Ensuring timely and quality completion of outsourced BI works without direct control over contractor workforce deployment

What we are looking for

- At least 5 years of working experience in Logistics and supply chain management - Experience in facilities and infrastructure management and contract execution is advantageous - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel - Familiarity with procurement and finance systems - Strong contractual knowledge and management skills - Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of management - Resourceful and meticulous - Ability to work independently Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
