What the role is

You manage and cultivate relationships with a diverse network of advocates, partners, and influential stakeholders to support MINDEF/SAF's communication strategies.

What you will be working on

- Develop and implement comprehensive engagement strategies to support MINDEF/SAF's communication objectives - Identify and propose suitable advocates for engagement across diverse stakeholder groups - Maintain a comprehensive stakeholder database and manage strategic relationships that can be activated when organisational support is needed - Create tailored content and information resources for advocates to enhance their engagement effectiveness - Serve as the primary relationship manager for key partnerships, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with organisational objectives - Monitor and analyse audience and information space developments to inform strategic communications approaches Challenge(s) - Grasping and making sense of ongoing developments in the audience and information space, requiring perceptive and judicious monitoring of information and social media trends and their impact on MINDEF/SAF in an increasingly saturated and fast-paced information environment

What we are looking for

- Education in Mass Communications, Social Sciences such as Political Science or International Relations - Experience in Singapore government communications, marketing or stakeholder engagement industry is beneficial and preferred - Active interest in Singapore's political, defence and security developments, current affairs, and social media or technological developments - Strong critical and analytical thinking abilities - Excellent writing and interpersonal skills to effectively engage advocates - Proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail, ability to think outside the box, and resilience in facing challenges (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
