You build impactful products for the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) as part of a dynamic team at Defence Operations Technology Centre (DOTC). You will have opportunities to independently explore problem spaces, ideate solutions, and build and launch products that serve both strategic organisational goals and user needs.
Note: The Digital Ops-Tech Centre (DOTC) is a newly established unit within the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS) that explores cutting-edge technologies and adopts industry best practices in software engineering to enhance the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF)'s operational capabilities through innovative digital solutions.

What you will be working on
- Discover products that are impactful, usable and feasible within the SAF environment
- Drive and manage products to meet both product team needs and strategic organisational goals
- Actively engage stakeholders, product team members, and users to understand their interests, needs and constraints to derive optimal product strategies and decisions
- Drive product research and adoption among existing and new users across the SAF
- Stay up to date with technology developments in the industry, across the Whole of Government, and MINDEF/SAF
- Facilitate daily stand-ups and apply Agile practices to ensure product success
- Identify potential project risks and recommend mitigating measures to ensure successful product delivery
Challenge(s)
- Balancing different stakeholder needs and constraints and making optimal product decisions in a complex defence environment with diverse user requirements and strategic priorities
What we are looking for
- Education in Computer Science domain is preferred, but not mandatory
- At least 6 years of work experience in product management or related fields
- Entrepreneurial mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Good sense of product development and user experience design
- Ability to understand solutioning approaches and effectively prioritise tasks
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong technical aptitude with good understanding of software and infrastructure components, tooling, and basic web development concepts and principles
