What the role is

You are responsible for the development and management of learning and development for non-uniformed officers in MINDEF/SAF.

What you will be working on

- Review and design learning and development strategies for non-uniformed officers across MINDEF/SAF - Review and enhance programme curriculum to ensure relevance and effectiveness in meeting organisational needs - Manage course nominations and administration processes to ensure efficient delivery of learning programmes - Conduct learning and development needs analysis to identify skills gaps and training requirements - Collaborate with stakeholders to promote and champion competency-based processes across the organisation - Develop initiatives to enhance workforce engagement and performance through targeted learning interventions - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programmes to ensure continuous improvement Challenge(s) - Understanding the objectives and aims of various training courses to ensure relevancy to non-uniformed officers and maximise resources when determining short-listing criteria - Planning ahead and implementing close monitoring systems for various courses - Working independently and multi-tasking within tight deadlines - Thinking beyond surface issues and exercising sound judgement in complex and ambiguous cases, requiring keen organisational acumen and ability to engage senior management and stakeholders effectively

What we are looking for

- Education in Human Resource or related fields - Ability to multi-task effectively in a dynamic environment with multiple concurrent projects - Good interpersonal and written communication skills - Strong networking and collaboration skills - Creative mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to analyse learning needs and performance gaps and find innovative solutions to address them (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
