What you will be working on
ICT Operations and Support
• Manage day-to-day ICT operations for assigned departments and zones.
• Provide comprehensive IT support services including hardware troubleshooting, software installations, and technical guidance to end users.
• Oversee provision and management of basic ICT equipment including EUSS, notebooks, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Coordinate and execute tech refresh exercises, including planning, implementation, and post-deployment support.
• Monitor and maintain ICT equipment performance, conducting preventive maintenance and addressing technical issues promptly.
• Support remote access solutions and ensure secure connectivity.
• Oversee ad hoc software licensing and portable storage media management in accordance with security policies.
Cybersecurity and Risk Management
• Personally oversee phishing email exercises, cybersecurity related areas and awareness programmes, and staff training completion.
• Lead comprehensive ICT incident response, investigation, and management across the Group.
• Manage IM8 and MND Third-Party Risk Management programmes, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
Asset and Service Management
• Oversee provision and management of basic ICT equipment including EUSS, notebooks, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Manage specialised ICT services such as telephony systems, managed print services, and wireless network infrastructure.
• Coordinate SG-mails and SGEPP management, ensuring proper access controls and user support.
• Handle procurement processes for ICT assets, including vendor coordination, approval workflows, and delivery management.
• Maintain accurate asset registers and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and optimal resource utilisation.
Security and Compliance
• Support Category 2 Security Clearance processes, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with WOG/HDB security policies.
ICT Coordination and Engagement
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for staff, ensuring proper ICT access provisioning and asset recovery.
• Serve as secretary/coordinator for engagement with Department/ Zone Administrative Managers.
• Heighten awareness of new work productivity tools and technologies, promoting adoption of innovative solutions to improve operational effectiveness.
• Champion adoption of new ICT work tools through awareness campaigns, training sessions, and user support.
• Coordinate ICT-related meetings and stakeholder engagements, including agenda preparation and follow-up actions.
Additional Portfolio - Department Administrative Manager
• Manage the Administrative team, providing guidance and support for administrative operations.
• Supervise end-to-end procurement and asset management processes.
• Manage department budgets and resources efficiently, including financial planning and expenditure monitoring.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders on department renovation works and facility management.
• Coordinate HR-related matters including staff welfare, leave management, and personnel administration.
• Champion department procurement matters, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Cascade administrative communications and policies to department staff.
• Manage office administration including coordination of department events, meetings, and official functions.
• Maintain department records and documentation systems.
• Liaise with corporate services on administrative matters affecting the department.
What we are looking for
• Background in in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in ICT operations, or related roles.
• Experience with cybersecurity principles and IT governance frameworks preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and project coordination abilities.
• Experience in government, public sector, or large organisation ICT environments advantageous.
• Administrative management experience preferred for the additional portfolio responsibilities.
Successful candidates will be offered 1-yr contract at the first instance.
