System Analyst / Senior System Analyst (ICT Operations and Management)

What you will be working on

Leadership and Team Management • Lead and manage the ICT Governance & Operations team, providing strategic direction and operational oversight. • Guide and mentor team members to develop competencies, embrace emerging technologies, and build future-ready capabilities. • Conduct performance management, skills assessment, and foster a collaborative learning environment that promotes continuous innovation and technological adaptability. • Plan and execute team reorganisation initiatives to ensure agility and responsiveness to evolving ICT landscapes. Operations Oversight and Management • Oversee comprehensive ICT operations and infrastructure management. • Monitor system performance and availability to maintain optimal operational standards. • Oversee end-to-end asset management processes, including strategic procurement, deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management. • Manage ICT budgets and resources efficiently, conducting cost-benefit analyses for technology investments. • Coordinate tech refresh exercises and ensure seamless implementation. Project Leadership and Coordination • Lead strategic ICT projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Groups, Departments, Zones, and vendors for integrated project delivery. • Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure cohesive ICT solutions and governance alignment. • Manage project portfolios, timelines, and resource allocation to meet critical business deliverables. • Coordinate ICT-related meetings and stakeholder engagements, including agenda preparation and follow-up actions. • Monitor project progress and implementation status, providing regular updates to management and stakeholders. • Conduct follow-up actions from meetings and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and deliverables. • Implement effective change management strategies to ensure successful project adoption. Cybersecurity and Risk Management • Oversee phishing email exercises, cybersecurity related areas and awareness programmes, and staff training completion. • Lead comprehensive ICT incident response, investigation, and management across the Group. • Manage IM8 and MND Third-Party Risk Management programmes, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation. IT Business Continuity Planning • Collaborate with Group BCP Coordinator to ensure Departments and Zones develop, maintain, and regularly test their IT Business Continuity Plans and disaster recovery procedures. • Partner with relevant stakeholders on IT BCP exercises to ensure business continuity readiness and recommend continuous improvement measures. Strategic Planning and Governance • Develop and execute ICT strategies aligned with organisational transformation goals. • Ensure ICT governance frameworks comply with relevant regulatory requirements. • Identify and evaluate emerging technology trends, assessing their strategic impact and implementation potential. • Heighten awareness of new work productivity tools and technologies, promoting adoption of innovative solutions to improve operational effectiveness and service delivery. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders on ICT matters. • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse non-technical audiences. • Represent the ICT team in cross-functional meetings and strategic planning sessions.

What we are looking for

• Background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in ICT operations, incident management and enterprise ICT management. • Proven track record in team leadership, project management, and digital transformation initiatives. • Relevant certifications in IT governance, cybersecurity, project management, or cloud technologies preferred. • Experience in government, public sector, or organisation ICT environments highly advantageous. Successful candidates will be offered contract for this position.
