Senior/Principal Manager (Workplace & Facilities Management)

What the role is

This role involves planning & overseeing building maintenance and infrastructure projects acrosss the organisation, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery that aligns with organisational space requirements and operational objectives.

What you will be working on

You will work with multiple stakeholders to:

  • Manage and maintain equipment to meet health and   safety standards.
  • Monitor systems performance and functionality, making recommendations for improvements or upgrades
  •  Plan, prepare tender specifications and manage the full project lifecycle for renovation & upgrading projects to achieve project deliverables.
  • Manage facilities contractors and vendor relationships to ensure KPIs are met.
  • Coordinate space requirement, allocation, layout, and facility expansion.
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, leveraging on analytics and AI.
  • Participate in assessing space requirements for the new HSA building and proposing optimal space allocation strategies.

What we are looking for

  • Background in Mechanical & Engineering Engineering or Facilities Management with minimum 8 years continuous experience in Facilities Management or operational administration.       
  • Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) from the international Facility Management Association (IFMA) or equivalent.
  • Experience in space management, renovation project management and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Experience in government or public sector operations is advantageous.

The successful candidate will be offered a 1-year contract (with option for automatic renewal for a further one year) in the first instance.
