What you will be working on
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:
Fund management subsidiary
- Timely and accurate monthly closing
- Cashflow planning & execution
- Handle statutory audit, GST submissions, tax and XBRL filings
- Preparation of the filings to MAS
- Preparation of Board Papers
Funds
- Update of SOPs
- Process improvements
Property owning subsidiary
- Timely and accurate monthly closing
- Work with managing agent to ensure timely collection of accounts receivables
- Cashflow planning & execution
- Handle statutory audit, GST submissions, tax and XBRL filings
- Preparation of Board Papers
Others
- Collaborate on operational and financial issues
- Drive digital adoption within the teamSupport the Finance Controller/Manager in ad-hoc tasks
What we are looking for
- Degree in Accountancy, with at least 5-8 years of relevant working experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Good analytical skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Experience in the fund management industry is required
- Meticulous, resourceful and able to work independently
- Capable of managing tight deadlines and multitasking
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
