We are looking for a resourceful and service-oriented individual to join the Memorial Services and Operations Division which oversees the operation and maintenance of Government cemeteries, crematoria and columbaria. You will be stationed at a Mandai Crematorium and will play a key role in providing after-death care service.

What you will be working on
You will be responsible for the following:
- Lead and manage the maintenance team of the crematorium to achieve optimal maintenance standard.
- Plan and implement preventive maintenance and overhaul programmes for the crematorium facilities and equipment
- Manage operations for special annual festivals such as Qing Ming.
- Review and monitor cremation processes to enhance productivity and service standards.
- Handle and manage feedback/appeals from members of public.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
What we are looking for
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of working experience in environmental public health, or other fields with operations or service management in a leadership position. Experience in the operations and maintenance of process plant equipment would be an advantage.
- Able to lead, interact and foster teamwork
- Able to handle adverse situations and difficult customers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Good problem-solving, writing & communication skills
- Keen to take initiative and carry out plans
- Meticulous, organised and able to multi-task
- Mature, independent, responsible, and resourceful
- Self-driven and always ready to strive for improvement
- Willing to work in after-death care services environment
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays
