What you will be working on

You will be reporting to the Project Team, Infrastructure Development, Sport Infrastructure Group (SIG). In this role, you will be part of the team to plan, develop, design and construct new generation of sports facilities through the execution and control of project development procedures by reviewing feasibility studies, conceptualising sport facilities, planning technical requirements, evaluation technical proposals and implementing the sport facilities. In this role, you will support the Project Team in: • Carrying out site identification, evaluation of potential development sites and feasibility assessments for planning proposals, inter-agency discussion ensuring authorities compliance, conduct of feasibility studies of individual sites, agency consultations, evaluation of proposals etc, to deliver the project. • Carrying out administrative and finance tasks to facilitate the project delivery. You will work closely with the appointed Design & Build Contractor and other external stakeholders (such as technical agencies, collaboration partners etc) to carry out the design and construction, ensuring technical agencies requirements compliance for a successful project delivery. • Comprehensive site identification reports with evaluated potential development sites and feasibility assessments. • Consultation records and planning guidance obtained from URA and relevant government agencies. • Confirmed and approved sites with documented planning parameters, zoning requirements and regulatory clearances. • Site evaluation documentation including selection criteria, technical assessments and stakeholder feedback. • Planning submission materials and approval tracking records to support project progression. • Engagement of Registered Surveyor (via ITT) for the preparation of boundary demarcation. • Prepare, call and evaluate tenders for both the SO and QS consultancies and to manage and work closely with them to ensure that the project is delivered according to the contractual specifications, statutory regulations and to be completed within budget. • Prepare, call and evaluate tenders for the D&B Contractor and to work closely with the appointed contractor to ensure the project is completed according to the approved technical specifications and requirements

What we are looking for

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following; • 1 to 3 years experience in the built environment sector. • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs. • Positive, pro-active and good team player. • Innovative with high degree of creativity to think outside the box and come up with novel ideas and solutions. • Hands on and meticulous in his/her work and can deliver with tight deadlines. • Able to cope in fast moving environment and work independently under minimal supervision. • Effective communication skill, good problem-solving mindset, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. • Passion to work in sports industry.
