What the role is

You will be part of a dynamic team who carries out communications and engagement functions to ensure effective and timely communications of MOF’s policies and initiatives to both external and internal stakeholders. You will co-develop and implement effective integrated communications and engagement strategies, to increase awareness and understanding of MOF’s policies and facilitate the achievement of MOF’s objectives and mission.

What you will be working on

• Co-develop strategic communication plans across communications and engagement platforms • Execute strategic communications efforts, including issues management, social media, marcom and media management, to create awareness, understanding and appreciation of MOF policies and initiatives • Be part of a team to strategise and grow MOF digital media assets (include MOF corporate social media accounts) • Conceptualise, write and copy-edit publicity materials • Simplify technical/complex information into compelling concepts/stories and scripts for publicity materials, including videos, animation and graphic designs

What we are looking for

• A creative mind with experience in developing and implementing strategic communications plans for platforms, including digital and media platforms • A keen interest in and strong awareness of current affairs and national issues • Self-motivated and meticulous, with ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with tight deadlines • Team player with strong communication, interpersonal, organisational and project management skills • Good command of the English language, with strong written and verbal communications skills • Adept at tools such as Canva, Capcut, Photoshop/Illustrator among others.
