Administrative Executive (Car Park Operations)

What you will be working on

HDB is seeking an enthusiastic and self-driven individual to join our Car Park Operations team. As an Administrative Executive, you will be responsible for the accounting and management of Car Park Department’s assets and related payments. You will have the opportunity to be involved in areas like contract management and impactful projects to enhance work processes, including co-solutioning with internal business groups or external stakeholders to rethink processes and develop systems to achieve effective asset record and payment management. You will be required to: • Work alongside the manager/supervisor in system development/ enhancements or policies review which includes working with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate the work, including requirements gathering, testing and implementation; • To adopt design thinking concepts and support manager/supervisor to streamline internal work processes, resolve issues and improve car park asset and collections management; • Liaise with banks, payment vendors or internal stakeholders to ensure collections are processed accurately and timely; • Manage enquiries and work with various stakeholders to ensure proper asset recording, deployment and disposal; • Provide support to manager/supervisor in implementing of IT equipment or systems; • Perform duties such as the preparation and verification of payment records, provision of accounting and budgetary support and/or collection of payments or any other tasks assigned by the manager/supervisor; • Opportunities to be involved in other car park operations

What we are looking for

• Qualification in relevant discipline such as Accounting/Finance/Business/Facilities Management/ Estate Management; • Effective team player who is committed, self-driven, resourceful and can work both independently and in a team environment; • Meticulous with numbers and has an eye for details; • Possess good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills; • Ability to exercise sound judgment and multitask effectively in a dynamic environment; • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; • Minimum 2 years of related working experience in similar position is preferred; • Knowledge in system development, use of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), will be an added advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be offered the role on a 1+1 year contract. Subject to the department's needs and the individual's performance, there may be opportunities for contract renewal or conversion to a permanent position.
