We are seeking a UI/UX Designer to join our in-house development unit to design intuitive, user-centric, and scalable digital products. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into seamless user experiences across web and internal systems.
This role is critical in shaping the usability, accessibility, and overall experience of digital services developed in-house.

What you will be working on
• Design user-centred interfaces that meet the needs of users and the organisation's business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure that the design is aligned with the product vision and technical requirements
• Conduct discovery and user research to gather insights and feedback, and translate those findings into designs that improve the overall user experience for users
• Develop personas, journey maps, service blueprints, and experience flows.
• Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, interactive prototypes and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders and development teams
• Iterate and test designs, continuously track and analyse user behaviour and feedback to identify areas for improvement and growth.
• Implement and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all internal products and platforms
• Create high fidelity designs with intuitive interactions, and collaborate with developers for implementation
• Provide guidance on UI/UX related queries
What we are looking for
• Postgraduate / Tertiary qualification in design or related field
• At least 2-3 years of experience in UI/UX design for digital products
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma etc
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing
• Strong collaboration skills, adaptability, analytical thinking, structured written communication, and the ability to work independently across product teams
• Customer-centric mindset with passion to build great products
• Having domain knowledge in Homeland Security sector will be an added bonus
• Applicants with more than 5 years’ relevant experience will be considered for more senior positions
All new appointees are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure overtime, based on performance.
